Every laser clinic in Texas is required to employ the services of a licensed physician to act as the clinic’s medical director. The medical director is responsible for establishing treatment protocols, providing technical direction to clinical staff, ensuring adherence to operational standards, and timely responding to medical emergencies. The use of lasers in Texas is regulated by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS). In accordance with 25 Texas Administrative Code §289.302, clinics performing laser hair removal services in Texas must be registered with TDSHS. Clinics located within a facility owned or operated by a physician for the practice of medicine are not required to register. Our clinics were among the first facilities in Texas to receive certificates of registration for laser hair removal.
Individuals performing laser hair removal in Texas must be certified by TDSHS unless the individual is a physician or a physician’s employee or delegate acting under Occupations Code, Chapter 157. Applicants for laser hair removal certification must meet minimum training requirements specified in §289.302. Every laser technician at Elements Laser Spa has received a certificate of registration for laser hair removal from TDSHS. In Texas, the purchase and use of a prescription drug or device can only be ordered by a physician. All clients must obtain an order from one of our medical directors before cosmetic treatments using a prescription drug or device may be performed by our technicians (with the exception of laser hair removal). Texas Medical Board rules governing physician delegation of nonsurgical cosmetic procedures are contained in the Texas Administrative Code, Title 22, Part 9, Chapter §193.17.
Payment for services or products may be made in advance or at the time the services or products are provided. We accept numerous forms of payment including cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Special financing for up to 12 months is available through Care Credit. You can apply and receive immediate credit approval either on-line or in our office.
We do not accept tips.

Our downtown Austin clinic is located on San Jacinto between 6th and 7th Streets. Metered parking spaces are usually plentiful early in the week and on mornings and early afternoons on most days. Parking can be a bit more challenging on Thursday and Friday evenings. Also, parking can be more difficult during major downtown events such as Pecan Street Festival, SXSW, ROT Rally, and ACL Music Festival. Give yourself more time to find a parking space when you are scheduled on a busy downtown day. The parking meters near our clinic operate on the following schedule:
- Monday-Wednesday: 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
- Thursday-Friday: 8:00 a.m.-Midnight
- Saturdays: 11:00 a.m.-Midnight
Our North Austin clinic is located in the Hymeadow Square office park just off HWY 183 and south of FM 620. There are parking spaces reserved for our clients.
Our South Austin clinic shares an office with Urban Dental in the Berkshire SoCo building on South Congress. There is ample parking behind the building that is reserved for retail customers.
Our Keller (North Fort Worth) clinic is located in a modern office park with ample parking.
Our downtown Austin clinic is located on the second floor of an historic building and is not accessible by wheelchair or by those unable to climb stairs. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Our North Austin, South Austin, and Keller clinics are modern ADA compliant facilities.
We will call you the day before your scheduled appointment. Please make sure that the phone number we have on file for you is the number you want us to use for this purpose.
We will send you a reminder e-mail message several days before your scheduled appointment provided we have your correct e-mail address on file. You may occasionally receive promotional materials from us by e-mail. You may opt-out of any future promotional e-mails at any time by clicking the opt-out link contained in the e-mail. If you opt-out, you will still receive e-mail appointment reminders. We will never sell or give your information to an unrelated third party unless required by law or court order.
Rescheduling or Cancelling Appointments
It is very important that you contact us promptly if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. We realize that things come up unexpectedly, but we would greatly appreciate at least 2 days notice so that we have time to fill the open slot. Always call or e-mail us if you can’t make your appointment, even if at the last minute, as we would much rather be sipping Mexican martinis at Iron Cactus than sitting around the clinic wondering if you will show up. We will do our best to find a date and time that is more convenient for you.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may jam up our schedule and make waiting clients very unhappy. In fairness to other clients, we may have to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 10 minutes late. Please call us if you are running late.
Groupon Voucher Redemption Information
Groupon voucher(s) for laser hair removal may be redeemed at either of our Downtown or North Austin locations. There is no need to hurry, the vouchers do not have an expiration date. To redeem your voucher(s) and begin your laser hair removal treatments, contact us to schedule an appointment. Print out your Groupon voucher(s) and bring your voucher(s) with you to your first appointment.
