Medical Directors
Every laser clinic in Texas is required to employ the services of a licensed physician to act as the clinic’s medical director. The medical director is responsible for establishing treatment protocols, providing technical direction to clinical staff, ensuring adherence to operational standards, and timely responding to medical emergencies. Regulatory Compliance
The use of lasers in Texas is regulated in accordance with 25 Texas Administrative Code §289.302. Clinics performing laser hair removal services in Texas must be registered with the state. Clinics located within a facility owned or operated by a physician for the practice of medicine are not required to register. Our North Austin clinic was the first facility in Texas to receive a certificate of registration for laser hair removal.
Individuals performing laser hair removal in Texas must be certified by the state unless the individual is a physician or a physician’s employee or delegate acting under Occupations Code, Chapter 157. Applicants for laser hair removal certification must meet minimum training requirements specified in §289.302.
In Texas, the purchase and use of a prescription drug or device can only be ordered by a physician. All clients must obtain an order from one of our medical directors before cosmetic treatments using a prescription drug or device may be performed by our technicians (with the exception of laser hair removal). Texas Medical Board rules governing physician delegation of nonsurgical cosmetic procedures are contained in the Texas Administrative Code, Title 22, Part 9, Chapter §193.17.
Payment Information
Payment for services or products may be made in advance or at the time the services or products are provided. We accept numerous forms of payment including cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We do not accept payment through PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or any other such payment application. running on a mobile phone or tablet. Special financing for up to 12 months is available through Care Credit. You can apply and receive immediate credit approval either on-line or in our office.
Tipping
Our goal at Elements Laser Spa is to provide the best possible experience for our clients each time a client visits our clinic. We are not motivated by gratuities, but rather by the desire to see our company grow. Growth creates opportunity and great service leads to growth. Our success lies in your satisfaction. If you wish to show your appreciation, leave us a nice review on Yelp or Google. If you insist on leaving a tip, the tip must be in cash or you may ask your technician to add it to your sales receipt. Tips are not to be paid using Venmo or any similar payment application running on a mobile phone or tablet.
Parking
Our downtown Austin clinic is located on E 38th 1/2 St just one block west of IH-35. We have a small parking area and there is free parking on Harmon St next to our clinic.
Our North Austin clinic is located at 10601 Pecan Park Blvd, Building 3 #302 just off N Hwy 183. There are many parking spaces available.
The Keller (North of Fort Worth) clinic is co-located with Tarrant Plastic Surgery in a modern office park with ample parking.

Appointment Reminders
By Text Message
We will text you the day before your scheduled appointment. Please make sure that the phone number we have on file for you is the number you want us to use for this purpose.
By E-Mail
We will send you a reminder e-mail message several days before your scheduled appointment provided we have your correct e-mail address on file. You may occasionally receive promotional materials from us by e-mail. You may opt-out of any future promotional e-mails at any time by clicking the opt-out link contained in the e-mail. If you opt-out, you will still receive e-mail appointment reminders. We will never sell or give your information to an unrelated third party unless required by law or court order.
Rescheduling or Cancelling Appointments
It is very important that you contact us promptly if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. We realize that things come up unexpectedly. We need at least 2 working days notice so that we have time to fill the open slot. Call or e-mail us if you can’t make your appointment and we will do our best to find a date and time that is more convenient for you. We charge a $25 rescheduling fee for late (less than 2 days) appointment changes.
Late Arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may jam up our schedule and make waiting clients very unhappy. In fairness to other clients, we may have to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 10 minutes late. Please call us if you are running late.
Groupon Voucher Redemption Information
Groupon voucher(s) may be redeemed at either of our Downtown or North Austin locations. There is no need to hurry, vo
uchers do not expire even though they have an expiration date. We just need the redemption code in order to redeem a voucher. To redeem your voucher(s) and begin your treatments, contact us to schedule an appointment.
